Its been flat tack at the Centre for the past few weeks and we are now towards the end of the chair making module. We started out with developing designs on paper followed by making life sized mock ups out of lower grade wood. These allow us to see the chair in full scale and to iron out any design issues. We also made accurate full size drawings which are used to make patterns and measure angles to assist in the making of the chair for real.
